Deep in the Peruvian Amazon, the Ashaninka community grow cacao beans using traditional methods handed down through generations. Despite constant pressure from outsiders who want to clear fell the land or use it for destructive practices, they protect the land and traditions by growing this heirloom cacao preserving their culture and the rainforest.
In the beginning
We created our vegan fair trade chocolate at night in a small bakery and hand wrapped the bars at home. Customers fell in love with our unique chocolates and our vision - to make plant-based chocolate that helps regenerate the planet and tastes great. We've come a long way from that little bakery and now produce all our products at our Vsolar powered factory.
